Windows 11 network shows "connected no internet access" but I am online, can connect to most websites, but some win apps think I'm offline and do not work

Over the past few days my win 11 PC network connection started showing connected but no internet access status. I can get online and access most websites, but some windows apps like Spotify thinks I am offline and will not work. I think this may have happened after the most recent Win update. Have run network troubleshooter and rebooted my modem with no effect. See several references to this issue in Win 10 but nothing for Win 11., Very frustrating and would love to hear some possible fixes from the community.

    I'm having this exact issue as well with my desktop. Both ethernet and normal Wi-Fi say no internet access, but clearly it works since I'm typing this on it. Tried updating Windows 11 from 22H2 to 23H2, but that didn't work. I also don't have Norton or use a VPN period so that isn't the issue for me. Thankfully most of my software for university classes work still, but not having the Microsoft Store working still sucks. I built this desktop back in July so it's frustrating that it's having this issue now.

    EDIT: I also tried using an external Wi-Fi adapter, same issue. Works completely fine on my old desktop.

    Same issue, when look at wifi connection it says "Connected No Internet" yet i am using EDGE just fine and email virgins and hotmail.. WINDOWS 11 HOME 22H2 with DELL laptop.. this happened month ago also but that time laptop didnt have internet so had roll back windows to before latest updates..

    I had the same issue. I tried many different ways and cannot get it to work. In the end, I reset Windows to the factory condition.

    The symptom was that my laptop was connected to the routers via WiFi, but Windows 11 complained no Internet access. It tried to test the Internet connection, but somehow the DNS client was not working. Ping with IP addresses worked. As a result, I can only use the laptap at home.

    Hi juliet. This takes me to the windows store and a pop-up window that tells me I'm not connected to the internet.
