Windows 11 network shows "connected no internet access" but I am online, can connect to most websites, but some win apps think I'm offline and do not work

Over the past few days my win 11 PC network connection started showing connected but no internet access status. I can get online and access most websites, but some windows apps like Spotify thinks I am offline and will not work. I think this may have happened after the most recent Win update. Have run network troubleshooter and rebooted my modem with no effect. See several references to this issue in Win 10 but nothing for Win 11., Very frustrating and would love to hear some possible fixes from the community.

    Thanks for the help Bernard.

    When I open my browser the internet is working. Every web site I visit works fine.

    Other computers on my home network can access the internet my mobile devices can also. Issue seems limited to one Win 11 PC.

    WLAN Autoconfig was already set to automatic, so stopped and restarted it. WWAN Autoconfig was set to mnanual so switched it to automatic. Restarted the PC. Problem persists. See attached screen cap.

    Ran the command prompts and restarted. Problem persists.

    To clarify a bit more, the only issues seem to be that my network status shows as connected to my home network with no intenet access - see attached icon screen cap. And none of my MS apps will work as they all think I am offline. Everything else works fine and I can access all websites.

    Hi, thanks for the detailed information, and after the steps, I provided it should be all good as I encounter the same issue before, in addition, if your device is connected to work or company it is normal, but if it's a personal device, I suggest doing an in-place upgrade wherein it will upgrade the device to the latest version and repair all issues without deleting any files.

    It's a personal device, as I mentioned before it's a PC on my home network

    I'm not comfortable doing an in-place upgrade. Hopefully someone can offer another solution for this issue.
