Windows 11 network shows "connected no internet access" but I am online, can connect to most websites, but some win apps think I'm offline and do not work

Over the past few days my win 11 PC network connection started showing connected but no internet access status. I can get online and access most websites, but some windows apps like Spotify thinks I am offline and will not work. I think this may have happened after the most recent Win update. Have run network troubleshooter and rebooted my modem with no effect. See several references to this issue in Win 10 but nothing for Win 11., Very frustrating and would love to hear some possible fixes from the community.

2023-04-07T13:46:25+00:00 Tried everything with no luck. Finally gave in and factory reset my PC which solved the problem. Guessing a windows reinstall would do the same.
