Failed to install version 22h2 0xc190011f

I am trying to update windows to 22h2 in an attempt to troubleshoot another issue i am having (games crashing when booting up dx12 with shaders with "out of video memory" error, same games work on dx11 though) and i have tried multiple times to update to 22h2 but it continuously fails. Windows will download the update, restart, install the update up to 25% and crash with blue screen showing an error with NTFS.sys i believe. So maybe the drive is corrupted by i've do so much to try to fix that.

i have tried to the SFC scannow steps, chkdsk /f c:,

i've tried 2 separate m.2 drives booting win 11 on them each with a genuine microsoft win 11 usb/key,

i've done multiple clean installs on both drives

i've formatted/deleted the info on drives to do a clean install

i've tried multiple graphics cards for dx12/shader issue, same problem, so not the cards.

i've rolled back gpu drivers, reinstalled drivers, used DDU as well for that.

i've updated all my drivers in general.

installed cc cleaner to check rootkey/scan computer

installed malwarebytes to check for viruses/etc.

i've tried different ram, tried different ram slots and combinations like single slot, dual channel, quad channel

reapplied thermal paste on the cpu

removed/installed cmos battery

messed with shader cache in both nvidia and tried multiple pagefile configurations for virtual memory

tries start up repair which ends with something like (unable to fix the issue)

i think there's more that i've tried but ive been at this for about 12 work hours over the last couple of weeks with no success with my DX12/shader crashing issue and now this windows update issue.

My system specs are:

msi 4090 gaming trio

32gb 5600mhz corsair ram

1000w msi psu

asus z690-e wifi mobo

13900k processor

i'm desperate for answers for both the windows update issue and the games with dx12 crashing immediately at boot with preloading shaders like Hogwarts, callisto protocol, dead space remastered, kena, MW2, etc.

    the drive was inserted on the mobo prior to booting up.

    The usb drive was seen and it booted to the windows installation setup where i was able to choose which version of windows i wanted (win 11) and then immediately it gave me that error. im almost done with work so i will restart and try again.

    I used a 64gb usb 3.0 drive for the media creation tool and it was automatically installed on that USB when i started up the media creation tool program on my computer.

    i have noticed it is difficult to get the ram in the slots for this mobo as well. i will double check that, however, the computer posted and shows the proper amount of ram/speed.

    i have not downloaded the samsung software from their website and it is using whatever drivers that windows has chosen.

    i am in the middle of installing the OS with the media creation tool. was able to get it to work, however, near the end of installation, i received the same "Page fault in nonpaged area" BSOD. this happens every time i reinstall the OS.

    I feel like it all comes down to the installation of the OS now. There is something missing. Is this a drive issue or mobo issue?

    I also did a memtest86 and it came back with zero errors for the ram.

    what an exhausting issue. its like nothing fixes this.

    i checked device manager and i see this:

    not sure what thats from. and also, my drivers for nvidia are still failing, however, the microsoft updates have updated with no issues.

    the biggest constants are the page fault error when installing windows and the driver issues from nvidia which all of this could be tied together somehow.

    Did you just stick the drive in prior to booting and it was or was not seen as a UEFI version?

    If you use the media creation tool and let it make the drive, it will split the Install.esd so it will fit on a Fat32 version of the drive.

    And one more thing, on my Z790 board, I noticed there is a chance the memory module may not be fully inserted on the end opposite of where it locks down. If the part that goes into the slot is not just barely below the top of the slot, you may have that situation.

    You are not using the Samsung NVMe driver on the 980 Pro, correct?

    i have the audio coming out of one of my monitors im using for testing. so its not using the alienware monitor at the moment.

    i have tried with resize bar and without, same issue. tried with xmp off, xmp1 and xmp2. still didnt change help.

    i also just messed around with the virtual memory. tried a couple configs, nothing worked.

    i just finalized the media creation drive. about to take the GPU out and reinstall windows with the bootable usb:

    i removed the gpu, removed/reinstalled cmos battery, inserted the usb media creation tool, went through the setup process for win 11 installation until i received this error " This pc cannot run windows 11" " this pc doesnt meet the minimum system requirements to install this version of windows. for more information, visit https://aka.ms/windowssysreq"

    which is ridiculous because i am making this reply on that same computer with the previously installed windows 11. any thoughts?

    Virtual memory looks OK. You showed the driver for the monitor in a prior post. For my Dell monitor is it 1.1.0.0

    Your Dxdiag text show your sound devices as the second, where mine (ASUS Z790) shows the first. You may want to verify your configuration. It does look like you are currently using the Monitor audio, whatever monitor you have. I also have the Monitor Nvidia output but I am not using it.

    Realtek Digital Output (Realtek USB Audio)

    SPDIF Interface (Realtek USB2.0 Audio)

    Do you have the ReSize BAR enabled in the Bios?

    It looks like you need a driver for your monitor. Make sure and check the refresh rate. i have tried 60hz and 144hz

    Are you running the monitor in HDR and if so, have you tried it without HDR enabled? i have tried with and without hdr

    Have you checked the video cables you use to make sure they are adequate? i have tried multiple cables and different monitors

    Are you running Realtek audio through a S/PDIF? i am not using realtek audio

    i am trying to make a usb installation media drive right now.

    also, here is a screenshot of my virtual memory, does this look right? i have 32gb of ram and 24gb of Vram.
