Windows 11 doesn't see any wifi networks during the setup process

I was trying to install windows 11 on my new laptop when I reached the next step "Let's connect you to a network" the PC could not find any available networks

even after connecting it directly to an ethernet cable.

So I tough the problem might be caused by the Wireless Lan drivers but when I open the Command Prompt and try to run the drivers the keyboard or mouse won't work (Even after trying with a wireless one too).

I got this issue and here what I did to resolve:

This is the first step to do:

go to your motherboard manufacturer website and down load the LAN driver for motherboard or WiFi driver for your laptop

unzip if needed and copy everything (after unzipped) to a USB thump drive,

Plug the USB drive to a USB port in your machine then do the followings:

  • At Let connect to the network screen,
  • Press Shift + F10: to bring up the CMD window
  • Type exflorer to bring up the file manager:
  • Browe to the location where you have to files in your USB drive
  • Look for a exeutable file (normally install.exe or setup.exe,....)

-Double click on it to run it

That's it, you now can continue with your setup process

    OK, I followed the directions and did an "End Task" on the Network Connection Flow, and it automatically went to the next screen, "Who is going to use this computer?".
    Was it supposed to do that?

    If none of those steps work go into terminal

    Next type

    Oobe/bypassnro

    Once entered your computer will restart don’t worry it’s working then proceed like normal and there will be a new button on the internet screen press that

    Hello Botan, welcome to the Microsoft community, I'll be happy to help you today;

    I understand that Windows 11 does not find a network during installation;

    In that case there is a "workaround" that can work;

    When you get to the "Let's connect you to a network" screen, press Shift + F10;
    Type: taskmgr and press Enter;
    Task Manager will open;
    Click More details;
    Locate the "Network Connection Flow" process;
    Right-click on it and select End Task;
    Now go back to the "Let's connect you to a network" screen and you can proceed to finish the installation.

    Im sorry im facing the same problem and when i end the network connection flow it instantly goes to a you lost internet page where i can only retry to find my wifi which obviously doesn't find anything, im not so sure if it matters but my mobo is b650 tomahawk wifi and i already updated the bios of it
