How to move taskbar to vertical position in windows 11?

Absolutely absurd to open my computer today just to find less functionality with windows 11. upgrades people, upgrades.

I would pretty please like to have my task bar on the left again.

MS is NOT going to let the task bar "behave" your way. Less is More, you must learn. Did you notice the wordings they use now...like "behave"? To me , it's so creepy they assign task bar a life and a mind of its own.

MS, I think, announced in a subtle way that even KB503441 update will not be fixed so that Win10 without Bitlocker won't keep on updating non-essential update--it's gonna keep on telling you "something went wrong" until the end of time.

Aside from that, the notification from Microsoft Community ended up in JUNK of my Hotmail account--I mean, Microsoft itself doesn't know and cannot sort its own emails.

All those smart people asking users "How do we improve Window?". When they do, I always tell them to bring me $1Billion cash as they know exactly where and who I am. They never respond. They want all those advise for free.

Seriously!? It's a joke that you can't change the taskbar in the system settings to fit vertically. There's nothing left to do but download the patch from github and, on occasion, implement a patch to block telemetry and scripts that track our work on the computer. I do not understand the approach of removing functionality that existed and was widely used in previous versions of Windows. It's probably time to switch 100% to another operating system like Linux.

100%. I typically have 10 to 20 windows/apps open. The horizontal task bar is absolutely useless when attempting to identify what window is what. This reduction in capability will keep me from upgrading as long as possible. I only found out since my government issue laptop updated. I guess I'll simply keep windows 10 at least until Oct 25.

To support the statements above.. this is not a hyperbolic complaint. The amount of work and context switching I need to do would make 90% of the population cry. This is a major handicap.

Fingers crossed someone will come up with a 3rd party solution.
