2025-03-27T09:27:37+00:00 Come on now MS, restore the option to have a vertical taskbar!! Vertical screen space is super important, why wasting it with the taskbar?! I am already regretting upgrading to windows 11 - which I would not have done if not forced btw..
EXACTLY!!! Why can you not understand in MS - it is OUR decision where we want taskbar to be...what is so difficult in this? As Ilbuiz I would not have been changing to Windows 11 IF I KNEW and would not have been forced! The screen is rectangular, imagine how much wiser it is to have it in vertical position!!!! Really stupid to force people to follow your demand and idea!

MS knows better so go swivel...so frustrating

2025-04-17T14:47:53+00:00 Accessibility ImpactAs a neurodivergent user of Windows 11, I would like to point out that, by removing the ability to have a vertical taskbar, you have created an accessibility problem for many users.
Because I have an ADHD brain, I benefit from having things "at the point of performance" and being able to see things where and when I need them is critical to my continued productivity. This means that when I need something, I need to be able to see it. When I am required to search across grouped/collapsed windows or when windows has moved my needed application to the "..." because it wouldn't fit on the taskbar, I've been virtually kneecapped. Furthering my frustration, when an application icon has been moved to the "..." area, I can't move it so that it appears next to the other applications on the main taskbar area. It's just stuck there ...out of sight and out of mind. Please do make it a priority to restore the ability to orient the taskbar vertically.
