I want to add to the sentiment that not being able to move the TASKBAR vertically to the left side or right side is most inconvenient. I would also like to petition Microsoft to bring it back please, help us peasants who slave all day staring at screens to receive a little solace by giving us back the ability to control one thing in life...that be our taskbar location.
How to move taskbar to vertical position in windows 11?
How do I move the task bar from horizontal position to vertical position? Company just installed windows 11 and I can't seem to figure out how to move it.

2025-01-21T18:32:31+00:00 This is a joke. I am on a corporate laptop and I can not install any mods, let alone use regedit.
I NEED THE VERTICAL TASK BAR.
Working on a 21:9 screen and a horizontal taskbar is counter productive.

2025-01-27T12:49:02+00:00 +1 for the vertical taskbar. On a 16:9 screen it makes a lot of sense.
One of the reasons given by MS "A movable taskbar makes it more more difficult to figure out their environment" is just ridiculous: then, the ability to hide the taskbar should be removed too.
