How do I move the task bar from horizontal position to vertical position? Company just installed windows 11 and I can't seem to figure out how to move it.

Looks like Microsoft will never do it. Tools such as startallback and ExplorerPatcher replace the whole taskbar, I didn't want that. The solution that I found is Vertical Taskbar for Windows 11 Windhawk mod.

You can use Open Shell to enable a vertical taskbar. https://open-shell.github.io/Open-Shell-Menu/

    Hi Microsoft,

If you see this, I would also please like the option for the vertical taskbar back! Thank you!

this is very very unfortunate. u CANT.

Use Start11 to customize the start menu with almost the exact same settings as windows 10: https://www.stardock.com/products/start11/

to revert to win10 taskbar, use StartAllBack to revert the taskbar to windows 10 with curved corners, do some consistency fixing within WIndows 11, and fix Windows Explorer: startallback.com

In case anyone else is interested in this stardock "Start11" recommendation, don't waste your time - there is no option for a vertical taskbar, only to move it to the top or bottom of the screen.

    I have 3 screens.

I want the taskbar of the left screen on the right, on the main screen bottom (no programmer here :D) and on the right screen on the left.
It feels like Windows 8 all over again, where we had to install third party-programs to have the efficient UI back.

Sadly in a corporate environment installing programs isn't easy or allowed.
