This is a joke. I am on a corporate laptop and I can not install any mods, let alone use regedit.

I NEED THE VERTICAL TASK BAR.

Working on a 21:9 screen and a horizontal taskbar is counter productive.

I want to add to the sentiment that not being able to move the TASKBAR vertically to the left side or right side is most inconvenient. I would also like to petition Microsoft to bring it back please, help us peasants who slave all day staring at screens to receive a little solace by giving us back the ability to control one thing in life...that be our taskbar location.

I am writing to express my frustration with the taskbar customization options in Windows 11. I am extremely disappointed with the removal of a crucial feature.

In previous versions of Windows, it was possible to position the taskbar vertically on the left or right side of the screen. This flexibility was essential for users like myself who manage multiple windows and prefer a vertical taskbar for better screen real estate management. The fact that this option is missing in Windows 11 is incredibly frustrating and has significantly disrupted my workflow.
