How do I move the task bar from horizontal position to vertical position? Company just installed windows 11 and I can't seem to figure out how to move it.

MS is NOT going to let the task bar "behave" your way. Less is More, you must learn. Did you notice the wordings they use now...like "behave"? To me , it's so creepy they assign task bar a life and a mind of its own.

MS, I think, announced in a subtle way that even KB503441 update will not be fixed so that Win10 without Bitlocker won't keep on updating non-essential update--it's gonna keep on telling you "something went wrong" until the end of time.

Aside from that, the notification from Microsoft Community ended up in JUNK of my Hotmail account--I mean, Microsoft itself doesn't know and cannot sort its own emails.

All those smart people asking users "How do we improve Window?". When they do, I always tell them to bring me $1Billion cash as they know exactly where and who I am. They never respond. They want all those advise for free.

Absolutely absurd to open my computer today just to find less functionality with windows 11. upgrades people, upgrades.

I would pretty please like to have my task bar on the left again.

This is just another case of Microsoft being who they are: a mega-monopoly that does whatever it pleases b/c it is pretty much the ONLY player in the game! They obliterated virtually all competition and now they force you to "upgrade" when you really don't want to. IMO, Windows 7 was their absolute best OS; the software has gone steadily downhill ever since! And apparently, they don't care whether we beg, plead or holler at them for doing what they do, either way they won't listen. So I WON'T beg. I refuse. But I will express my vehement disdain for them. They don't care what I think anyway so why should I give them the satisfaction of asking them nicely to do something they KNOW they're never gonna do? IF and when they FINALLY do right by us, I'll give them due credit. But I'm not holding my breath.

Well, I am just a regular user. But, as far as I can tell, Microsoft couldn't care less about the taskbar "behavior".....to begin with, why do they use such strange wording? Behavior?? like it's an independent entity and has its own mind. I think Microsoft is way too obsessed with AI thing. Aside from that, they still haven't done anything about KB5034441.

AND, they keep on asking for free technical advice "how can we make Windows better?"

I always tell them to send me a billion dollar, cash, first since they know where I am and they never once respond.
