It appears we must step back to Win 10, OR move to a MAC.

The later is looking better and better.

Ok, so I know it's not possible to move task bar to vertical left/right position. In fact it's a reason why I have switched back from win11 back to win10.
But now at work win10 was updated to win11 and seriosuly I want to break something when I have to work with task bar at the bottm.
So... Dear Microsoft... WHEN WILL YOU BRING THIS FUNCTIONALITY BACK?!

I do not remember where I read it, but MS is NOT going to let you do it.

I mean, they announced it's hands-off for uninstallable and non-essential (to most, if not all) KB503441.

Even for placing quick-launch thispc icon on the Win11 task bar requires to use command input--I learned it on YouTube.

There are bunch of videos on how to change allocated space to install the KB above on YouTube.

I figure all those smart people at Microsoft are just too lazy and just free-loaders.

They know lot of people have to use Windows.

    They couldn't care less.

They are happy data mining with Co-Pilot and Edge.

Windows is telling me to upgrade to 11 from 10 and the only reason I have not is because of this lack of feature. It still appears that they have not added it back.

I had a task bar on the left. It was convenient with a 16:9 display.

Now i cant. I honestly dont see why.

Are you going to sell us win13 thanks to a "brand new feature" ?

Please give the people what they want. We, vertical taskbar enjoyers, are legion. Give us some love.
