When I was in the Army we used to have a saying around the round file cabinet; the one that gets emptied daily. I think Microsoft uses our feedback as a fodder for the round file cabinet.
How to move taskbar to vertical position in windows 11?
How do I move the task bar from horizontal position to vertical position? Company just installed windows 11 and I can't seem to figure out how to move it.

2024-07-31T16:34:15+00:00 Microsoft seems careless about its taskbar, even when we can move to the left or right in the prior versions, it keeps looking messy unless I need to install 3rd party app to clean the vertical taskbar's ugly appearance, i.e, a big width of vertical taskbar while containing all small icons. Mac os & Ubuntu dock are looking more polished at any left|right|bottom position.

2024-06-06T03:53:29+00:00 I can't understand why Microsoft has not incorporated a fix in Windows 11.
I have to thank Fernando Pinheiro1
I installed the patch https://github.com/valinet/ExplorerPatcher
After running the setup you have to check that the application is in your startup so that it runs automatically when you boot your PC.
You can minimize the application so that it doesn't clutter your desktop thereafter.
From my perspective it works a treat.
