How to enable greyed-out Microsoft Vulnerable Driver Blocklist which is shown as Security Alert in Taskbar?

Hi, The first of the problems has been fixed, the old update from 1979.

But the later one concerning security has not been.

Its still a worry as we are warned about a possible security issue, yet the fault is Microsoft and so many of us are effected

Regarding the latter, current security concern yes it is a worry.

Part of Microsoft's sales blurb is how secure there systems are yet they know about this, have fixed individual cases but not we the masses. How do they reconcile the blurb with the reality of insecurity - they cannot.

Come along Microsoft, get your act together for us, your reputation and your future sales.

So this appears to be discriminatory, Microsoft will fix the issue individually (If you can contact them) and the hell with the rest of us.? At 74 years of age, I had the micro students access and it worked real fine, but after getting the usual pop up ads for the latest offering, paid and downloaded it, and this is what I get?

Anyone know the rout to getting an individual from the tech team to assist me please?

I couldn’t get any human with the phone #’s listed for support/customer service from Microsoft.

The only way was using Chat…The Microsoft person was very helpful, gave permission to access my computer and it’s was fixed.

Thank you for your response to Teddyboyfromoz but the gist of this is AGAIN Microsoft have provided a fix for one person via chat.

What about the tens of thousands or maybe even more of users who have NOT been helped.

Microsoft should provide an online fix FOR EVERYBODY, it is their hiccup that needs to be fixed.

Again Microsoft's blurb is about the security of their product - THIS issue shows this to be a falsehood AND not user friendly.

Come on Microsoft you can do FAR better than this.
