My Bluetooth speaker Creative Stage Air 2 suddenly stopped being recognized as an audio by Windows 11, windows 11 will connect it as a Bluetooth device but not as an audio device
I try to disconnect it and reconnect through the system - sound - pair new output device - did not work, it'll connect to Windows but not as an audio device

Yes, came here with the exact same issue - connecting a Bluetooth speaker in Windows 11 no longer works. Simple things, Microsoft, and to compound the issue my Bluetooth headphones now come through sounding like an AM radio, presumably only connected as a mic and not an audio output.
Removing the audio output menu from Windows 10 is also egregious and short-sighted.
Exact same problem with my MSI GS 65 Stealth laptop. Bluetooth speakers connect via bluetooth... but it all stops there. Does not show up anywhere as an available audio output sound option to use. Totally ridiculous. Anyone have a fix yet????? Thanks.
I have this same issue; have reinstalled drivers so many times - even chatted with MS support last night who got me to do a full Win11 repair and I STILL have the same issue and nobody can tell me why or how to fix it! I can only assume this is a bug in Win11 (the audio device I used to use with no problems on Win10 is a Yamaha amp) and nobody cares
I found a solution which works for me. The situation you guys are facing may be similar with mine.
My system time zone is different from my local area. And I changed to the local zone.
And there is another setting in "Bluetooth & devices". Under "Related settings", there is a "More Bluetooth settings" section. I opened it, and checked "Allow Bluetooth devices to find this PC".
After about seconds later, the bluetooth speaker appeared. After that I unchecked the "Allow Bluetooth devices to find this PC", it still works after I removed the device.
I don't know which part made this worked. Just take a try.
I'm seeing the same thing with my Logitech Z207 speakers I keep in my garage. They worked under Win10. I've disconnected and re-paired under Speakers. Bluetooth shows connected. Speakers does not show them as a choice. Devices shows the speakers but shows them as disconnected and will not let me connect.
