download Snip and Sketch in Windows 11

I can't seem to find this. It didn't work on my initial install of Windows 11 and it was then deleted and I can't find where to reinstall. thanks.

    If you have used the delay feature in the new Snipping Tool, have you utilized this delay to take snapshots of menu options? When doing so using this new tool, the image taken is blank. I have tried but find no means of this option working for our user manuals.

    Exactly, I used to higlight text in my screen shots DAILY - now i have to make straight lines by hand. Bring back the ruler!

    Hi Peter, I'm Andy. Sorry Snip and Sketch was awesome. Snipping Tool is like trying to work on a car with a brittle plastic wrench. Pathetic is a good adjective.

    Yeah, it was a very bad decision on their part. Drives me crazy when developers make decisions without asking the users.

    The newest version of Snip and Sketch added

    • Shapes
    • Image crop (I haven't used it since the button has been added but you used to have to go to the three dots to the right to modify an image.)
    • Text actions (I haven't used this either.)
    • Type of "snip", e.g., rectangle, window, full screen, freeform
    • Record

    Ah, NVM, I read another answer that the current version has removed the ruler. Poor choice, Microsoft.
