amd3dvcacheSvc is causing errors, help needed

Since then, I have swapped from ASUS to MSI for my mobo. The BIOS beta(I'm still running it) helped with stability.

I had a read of that reddit link you mentioned.

Looks like MSI released a new bios on 03/07/23 to deal with the expo issue.

Has anyone tried installing the new version yet?

I get the same error as you to do with amd3dvcacheSvc but my issue seems to be a bit different to yours. I can play games all day long without any BSOD or system restarts but sometimes on the first cold boot of the day I get this error along with nvlddmkm event ID 0 and event ID 14. When this happens my PC only shows a picture on one of my monitors and my Strix RTX 4090 has a triangle next to it in device manager with an error code 43 which says Windows has detected an issue with the GPU. The system begins to work again normally if I simply restart the PC but every so often I am faced with this cold boot issue. I have also been getting another issue with the High Definition Audio Controller on my X670E Hero board. Whenever I install the NVIDIA High Definition Audio with the graphics drivers my system becomes unstable (system freezes, high DPC and ISR counts causing system latency and BSOD's due to DPC_Watchdog_Violation) after saving and exiting the bios screen. If I install the MSI Utility V3 from TechPowerUp and set the GPU to MSI supported then this issue goes away until I update my graphics drivers again. It's almost as if the GPU and the onboard audio of the motherboard are fighting one another which isn't normal. Honestly, I have never had so many issues with PC components in my life. I have tried nuking my NVME's and reinstalling Windows 11 again countless times as well as reinstalling multiple different NVIDIA drivers after using DDU in safe mode. I have tried reinstalling the chipset drivers multiple times as well as updating the BIOS. I am beginning to think that the GPU and the motherboard may both be faulty as nearly everything in the system is new. The strange thing is, I can sit and play games for hours on end with no issues. I thought it was an issue with the GPU when in idle state but I set the GPU to prefer maximum performance in NVCP so it never idle's below its boost clock but it didn't make a difference. I have also removed C states from the CPU in BIOS as well as set system to High Performance power plan and removed any power efficiency settings. I have also turned off fast startup in Windows and Fast Boot in BIOS. I don't want to have to RMA and wait up to a month for a replacement or have them turn around and say there's nothing wrong when there clearly is. I forgot to mention that the computer also freezes with BSOD when I put the system to sleep and try to wake it up again; the monitors take forever to turn back on and when one of them does, it just goes off again instantly and the system becomes unresponsive. Also for anyone that has a random system restart, you can go into advanced system settings on Windows and disable automatic restart. This will allow you to read the BSOD you're getting and will allow the system to record a memory dump of what exactly is causing the BSOD. You can then download 'Who Crashed' from 'Resplendence' to analyze this BSOD and it will give you an idea of what is causing it.

I got a refund on the graphics card. New one arrived today, and has only been running a few hours. Too soon to say if the card was faulty, but will run it longer and feedback.

The badfbadf error is the exact same I was getting. No way around it. Tried a ton of fixes and no lasting results.

Which gpu did you buy?

ASUS ROG Strix RTX 4090 OC

RMA the GPU. Have you tried swapping the power cable to the GPU? Sorry if you did and I missed that part. Strix cards have some issues. ASUS in general has them. RMA process was pretty fast. Like a week with the mother board. GPU was similar. Pretty much after blowing my system up with part swaps system has been rock solid with the MSI board. Went from x670e crosshair extreme to MSI Godlike. I have the two crosshair boards that were RMAed in my closet. Oh and in my experience sleep mode has always been Buggy. BSOD usually in my experience is HW or a driver issue. I also RMAed the CPU. When talking to ASUS(about the motherboard) they pretty much said that error is the CPU and to have it replaced. With these errors imo it seems ASUS has something screwy going on with their HW.
