amd3dvcacheSvc is causing errors, help needed

The description for Event ID 1 from source amd3dvcacheSvc cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event: 

amd3dvcacheSvc

CreateHelperUserProcess - WTSQueryUserToken Failed failed with 1008

The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table

CPU: 7800X3D

GPU: 7900XTX

Windows 10

32G DDR5-6000 CL36

This is a fresh build and I'm looking for some help with a few errors. One of which is the above. Any help would be appreciated.

    I noticed everyone seems to be of the opinion it is hardware related, in my opinion hardware errors are accompanied by the BSOD. I haven't had a single one. Mine freezes and mouse still active for a minute then it freezes also and another minute or two and it reboots. These are the Hallmark of windows system crashes, or time outs. Nobody has changed hardware and fixed it right?

    Funny you mention that, I had my first BSOD last night when it crashed.. looked like so..

    That weirdness is the ingame menu for Star Citizen.

    Yeah it looks like the main thing to do is ensure all BIOS settings are set to default (no overclocking/using EXPO), use memory on the QVL and wait for an updated BIOS that can hopefully provide more stability.

    I had a read of that reddit link you mentioned.

    Looks like MSI released a new bios on 03/07/23 to deal with the expo issue.

    Has anyone tried installing the new version yet?

    +1 on the Random crashes with this error. 7800x3d with RX 7900 xtx and Gigabyte motherboard. Thought it was the graphics card at first. replaced it with a different model and have the same issues. Fresh build, drivers all up to date, windows up to date, bios up to date. Sometimes crashes in game, sometimes crashes when watching youtube. No issues with Thermals. Did a memtest no issues, did a stress test on CPU/GPU no issues. At a loss here.

    That sucks. Sounds like you are in a similar boat. Waiting for the next BIOS update. You could try the Reddit link to try and see if any of those fixes do the trick. I tried with no luck.
