amd3dvcacheSvc is causing errors, help needed

The description for Event ID 1 from source amd3dvcacheSvc cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event: 

amd3dvcacheSvc

CreateHelperUserProcess - WTSQueryUserToken Failed failed with 1008

The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table

CPU: 7800X3D

GPU: 7900XTX

Windows 10

32G DDR5-6000 CL36

This is a fresh build and I'm looking for some help with a few errors. One of which is the above. Any help would be appreciated.

    +1 on the Random crashes with this error. 7800x3d with RX 7900 xtx and Gigabyte motherboard. Thought it was the graphics card at first. replaced it with a different model and have the same issues. Fresh build, drivers all up to date, windows up to date, bios up to date. Sometimes crashes in game, sometimes crashes when watching youtube. No issues with Thermals. Did a memtest no issues, did a stress test on CPU/GPU no issues. At a loss here.

    That sucks. Sounds like you are in a similar boat. Waiting for the next BIOS update. You could try the Reddit link to try and see if any of those fixes do the trick. I tried with no luck.

    Still sifting through this thread. I have tried some of the stuff, and I just have to give it time after a change. I'm still getting both errors. I might have to wait for the next BIOS update maybe. Thank you again for the help.

    Honestly, I'm not sure, but it could be the thermal paste. If it works for you, I'm happy you posted it! Someone's problem will probably be fixed by doing the stuff you mentioned. Not to worry you, but after my fresh install of Windows, I went 3 days.. then the problem started again. Best of luck!

    Ok, I'm now going two days straight without a single crash. Playing Star Citizen, max settings, for maybe about 10 hours over the two days..

    This is probably not the problem for anyone else, but who knows.

    In this order:

    1. I took the graphics card out.
    2. I removed the CPU cooler.
    3. I added a bit more thermal paste to the CPU.
    4. Refitted the CPU cooler tightly.
    5. Gave the 2 RAM sticks a push, to make sure they were seated OK.
    6. Reinstalled the GPU.

    And that was it.

    I believe I was perhaps getting crashes because I moved the PC up into the attic, and perhaps shoogled something loose.

    I know, now I've said this part publicly, I've jinxed it, and will start crashing again. If you don't hear back from me, then I haven't crashed since the date of this post + 2 days.

    Perhaps the paste? amd3dvcacheSvc  is related to the CPU; so perhaps a CPU hotspot or something is causing it the shut itself down, causing the crash.

    Yeah I think that's where I'm at now with this issue. Waiting and hoping

    Well, here's to good luck! Let us know if you tinker and figure something out. I'll keep posting stuff on here until its fixed.
