My computer cursor won’t click on anything but it moves just fine , this is a windows ten I bought three years ago by the way. Anyone know why?

Hey, the same issue. Not sure when it actually started. First I thought it my software problem because at the start it usually happend only in Illustrator. But just take charge or put it resolving this issue. After it started just when I open my laptop, I decided just delete Illustrator because it was annoying. It doesn't help and I thought I've got a virus. Tried 3 antivirus: Nod32, Bitdeffender and Avast, non of them didn't find any problem.

So I just reinstalled system and wished it not gonna happens again. But as appears problem not in the software, just in the windows. Because if that happens I can move cursor by mouse and touchpad but nothing react on my left click. Actually found one interesting thing, when it happens my right click still working only on the desktop(main window of windows). And only there.

Right now me helping just ctrl+alt+del and back to the windows without any sign out or task bar.

And actually when that's happens I can open taskbar through ctrl+shift+esc, but again it doesn't respond on any click while showing all information and application in the real time.

SO MICROSOFT, PLEASE PAY YOUR ATTENTION!!!

You didn't say you tried it. You did say that you smashed it against your desk, and then it worked again briefly. It's your mouse. Now *actually* try it, liar. Jesus Christ.

it wasn't that hard to understand that i literally told you that i tried and didn't work. hell, even at the end i say thanks for offering it. drop a bar dude.

Same issue here. Started yesterday, i tried everything i could, nothing helped.

The only turn around is hit Ctrl+Alt+Del, then Esc...this way the mouse return to work properly (for a shot period).

I believe its a Windows bug, because if my browser is open, mouse works just fine inside browser, but do not work on any microsoft folder or taskbar.

My mom's mouse didn't die because it was a Logitech, it died because she spilled coffee on it. My 66 year old mother doesn't use any gaming software, either. You literally just said that banging on the mouse temporarily solved the problem...hello? McFly? If you refuse to try the fix I offered, then I don't care what you think. Try it, and then you can either thank me, or tell me that it didn't work. Period. Ouf.
