My computer cursor won’t click on anything but it moves just fine , this is a windows ten I bought three years ago by the way. Anyone know why?

Thats absolutly not the issue here, my setting are just fine, the issue is randomly happening, the only way to get it working again is to hit ctrl+alt+del opening task manager after that i can click everything as normal, but i have to do this multiple time in a day, its really annoying.

Microsoft switched the default to the right click button on the mouse. Go to mouse settings and select the left click as default and will likely solve your problem :) !

Im having the exact same issue since the 23H2 update, sometime i got it on boot after a windows restart, thats really annoying, Microsoft do something!

This suddenly started happening to my computer last night. I either have to double click on tabs to get them to respond or it takes several seconds. I have run DISM, scannow, chkdsk, uninstalled/reinstalled my mouse, basically everything I knw how to do. The problem persists. It would be really nice if someone from microsoft would address this.

I also started having this issue following the 23H2 update.

I found that if I click the start menu and escape out, I can click the desktop icons again.

Anyone know of a permanent fix for this? It's quite annoying.
