Today is the first day with Windows 11 on my laptop.

After many years using the menu bar on the left side of the screen, I realized that this feature is not more available in this newer version ...

Really unbelievable ... it "was" a very productive and effective solution, especially in cosideration of monitors trend becaming increasingly wider and not taller.

Either developers no longer listen to users' needs, or they are not interested in improvements ...

I am humbled to see we have gone a calendar year since Lauren's first question and the problem still persists. Huzzah! At least we're consistent!

Checking in: 5/18/2023 through today 5/31/2024 - not able to move the Taskbar to the top, left, or right hand areas of any of my four screens.

Just upgraded to Windows 11 this week. If we can get 34 guilty charges but we can't get the Taskbar issue fixed, what the heck kind of world are we becoming?!

The URL is answers.microsoft.com. Where are the answers? Is this a Microsoft site or just a place Microsoft created for frustrated Windows users to jack around and not bother Microsoft? Where are you, Microsoft?

    Atrocious.

Just had to upgrade to Windows 11. I had my taskbar laid out on the left side of the screen AND a completely customized start-menu window that has all disappeared. <removed by Moderator>
