    Same here. I like it on the left edge of my screen because the screen is rectangular and it only makes sense to use up space on the left, not the bottom...

    This doesn't move the bar it just moves the buttons to the left side of the bar and the bar stays on the bottom of the screen. This is still a problem as of April, 2024. I even tried changing the registry key and it just reverts and doesn't move the taskbar.

    Bring back the ability to move the task bar to the right side!

    It is useless to have it on the bottom taking up precious vertical space on a laptop monitor.

    I dont want to have taskbar at bottom..... give taskbar movement on sides of screen back.

    I must agree that the person responsible for this should be fired... It makes no sense to have a fixed position for the taskbar in 2024.
