I want the whole task bar (not just the apps) to be moved to left so that the task bar and the apps are vertically placed on the left side of the screen. Is this possible? I was able to do this easily in the previous Window version.

agree! I am so happy I am not alone. for 25+ years, I have been using the entire task bar on the vertical left side of screen. It is MUCH easier to access everything. IF MS ever allows us to decide where to position the task bar, I challenge everyone to try it for a day or 2 :)
