2024-01-03T14:20:18+00:00 The taskbar takes up no vertical space if you autohide it. I know, this is too much trouble, and the obsession with having the taskbar on the left is overpowering.
I tried to autohide the task bar and found it to be inconsistent and doesn't always work. It would be more helpful to provide suggestions that actually work. It seems your ability for snark is intact yet unhelpful.

2024-01-04T14:33:36+00:00 The question is how to move the taskbar to the left, not how to align the icons to the left in the bottom taskbar.
@Microsoft: please bring back the option to move the taskbar to the left. I cannot believe this option is removed, it's like removing the option to use a keyboard and mouse. Me and most of my colleagues and friends have the taskbar to the left of the screen for the last two decades. It makes no sense to have it at the bottom if you use an ultrawide screen. Because you lose a massive amount of screen real estate. Please listen to the feedback of your customers because this is the dumbest thing ever

2024-01-04T14:57:20+00:00 I second this!!!! It's what I wanted to say! How this could be implemented reveals a very obtuse company. There is a 3rd party software type patch, but why should we have to do that with all the unnecessary risks, time, etc. I cancelled my Sirius membership when they "improved" their app, ditched all my favorites etc, and made it completely unusable without a lot of my time wasted. Unfortunately we can't cancel Microsoft. Or I would.

2024-01-09T04:11:42+00:00 The icons move to the left, but the task bar remains at the bottom, I would like to to be on the left side of the screen, all the bar, like a vertical bar, like windows 10 had it.
Thanks.
