Bring back the ability to move the task bar to the right side!
It is useless to have it on the bottom taking up precious vertical space on a laptop monitor.

This doesn't move the bar it just moves the buttons to the left side of the bar and the bar stays on the bottom of the screen. This is still a problem as of April, 2024. I even tried changing the registry key and it just reverts and doesn't move the taskbar.
Same here. I like it on the left edge of my screen because the screen is rectangular and it only makes sense to use up space on the left, not the bottom...
This win version is really so bad! Much worse then Vista. Not for Developers anymore, just for gamers. I only have one tool left that I need win for :-(( As soon as I have that dev tool on Mac I will kick !!! win from all of my machines. I can't wait for that event!
NO! It does not work. Clicking on LEFT or L, only moves the contents in the taskbar to the left side of bar (vs center). Entire bar still resides on the bottom of the screen.
Clicking LEFT does NOT move entire taskbar to left of screen.
Very sad, Actually unacceptable.
