how do u move the taskbar to the left side of the screen

The new update doesn't allow it on the left hand side of the screen vertically. My screen is broken at the bottom so now with the new update I can't get the taskbar, please help!

When I went to update my Windows 11 systems, I ran into a problem.

I couldn't find Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update > Windows Update for Business' I was able to find Computer Configuration>Administrative Templates>Windows Components>Windows Update` but couldn't find the Windows Update for Business. I found under Windows Update:

I looked under all of these for Feature Updates are Received and couldn't find it in any of the above selections.

I did find "Select when Preview Builds and Feature Updates are received," but it didn't have anything about Semi-Annual Channel. Enabling it was possible, but the choices don't match your description.

I didn't continue with the instructions. Please advise. I'm on Windows 11 23H2 22631.3737 (I would love to see Microsoft allow select and copy on the "winver" dialog. I mean, how hard would it be to support select and copy on the dialog box?)

Basically, this is a killed feature. Just updated to W11 and am thinking about restoring a backup from yesterday.

I had my taskbars - one on the left, and one on the right with W10 - always closer to work than scrolling to bottom left. Probably my age, but left-right motion costs a lot less effort than up-down.

Why does Microsoft always do it's best to destroy a UI we are used to.

Why did XP fail (initially)? Why did W8 fail completely - changes to desktop noone really wants certainly helped there.

Still not as bad as the 'other' when it comes to breaking stuff with updates - but changing a 30+ year old UI feature - is just bad design, besides being unfriendly and uneasy to use.

This only moves the taskbar contents to the left. I wanted to move the whole task bar to the left of the screen, which you can do by unlocking the taskbar and then dragging it to the left of the screen.
