how do u move the taskbar to the left side of the screen

ya this world is full of dumb people.

Just upgraded to Win11 and for the first time since 3.1 I cannot change the taskbar position. This is pathetic. They even removed the regedit change option.

The worst part is, when you look for the solution to how to change the taskbar position, 99% of the time some dumb person will talk about how to realign icons on it, creating long videos or long texts on how to do so. witch is " right click on the taskbar and click left" daaa.

Fully agree with all other comments - bunch of morons at Microsoft who show NO respect for their customers. It's beyond me why this option had to be removed. I am literally less than 1 minute on windows 11 and already terribly frustrated. fearing the worst for more unpleasant surprises. Just like with previous Windows updates, no hope there is anything useful in it. It only goes downhill. looking forward to me retirement, then I can dump Microsoft Windows at light speed.

Same here. Please, provide a feature which can move bar on left/right/top. That's so difficult?

And i agree with others on this topic. Modifying registry keys doesn't work. Simply put - it's impossible at the moment.

PS Wouldn't it be nice if the team of MS experts had known this answer from the start? The reason the never do is that they're trained to give the MS answer only. That's what they always do best, and of course, that will always lead to the mess you find here.

I think you are giving the independent "MS Experts" way too much credit. They probably just have the answers saved for the previous versions of Windows and never check if it works in the new version, or even have the new version installed.
