2023-05-14T00:43:38+00:00 That was weird I could not find the Alexa app in the store, although that link took me right to it?

2023-05-11T01:21:21+00:00 Which ended up being a wasted effort. Sadly... the Alexa Windows app does not allow me to control my individual devices the way the phone app does (setting up Wifi, controlling what's currently playing, etc).
If I had to guess... this problem is probably occurring for all of us troglodytes... who don't log into Windows with a "Microsoft account". Behind the scenes, they probably want to link tokens between our "Microsoft account"... and our Amazon account, and because we aren't logged in with a "Microsoft account", they won't show the app (which is, in my opinion, trash) at all, because the entire purpose of having it in the store is just so they can link the accounts for advertising purposes.
I guess it's just stick with the website for now (#uninstalls):

2023-05-11T01:07:46+00:00 Thank you, Ramesh.
This is SHAMEFUL on Microsoft's part. Thought they were done with all this shady anti-competitive ****. But creating my own download link for the appxbundle allowed me to install it.
Once I installed it (I used the 1 version older as test), then closing and re-opening the Microsoft Store, then the link worked, and when I viewed More Details... it appears to have triggered an update to the latest version directly from the store.
It, however, STILL, even after all of that, does not show up in the Windows Store search results.
