The alexa app on the microsoft store isnt there what do I do?

I have same issue. This link https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/alexa/9n12z3c...  does not enable you to get/download the App. I have a Dell PC Windows 10 no microphone, and an Echo Dot speaker as a gift which I can't install as NO ALEXA APP in Microsoft Store. I don't want it on my android phone. Why is this App not in the Microsoft Store?? How can i install my Alexa on my PC without the blasted App??

I tried resetting and reinstalling the windows store, and there is no install link

Tried to reset the Microsoft Store cache

1. via wsreset.exe

Manually deleted folder:

• Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe

Did the below also

• Get-AppxPackage *WindowsStore* | Remove-AppxPackage
• Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

I just had a chat with Amazon customer service and learned that the app was removed from the Microsoft store on 3/30/23. I suggested that Amazon should host the app and the customer service person agreed and said that he would submit the request. I would suggest contacting Amazon and making the request also. Maybe if they get bombarded they will pay attention. BTW, the agent I spoke to was "Adam." If you get someone else and they do not tell you they will submit the suggestion, perhaps report the person as not doing their job and keep trying until you get someone responsive.

I found issues just today with the Alexa app on my Windows 11 PC. Every time I minimised the window while working, a minute or so later it popped up again. It was driving me crazy, so I just closed it completely, but the same thing happened. It kept popping up. In the end, finding it very tiresome, I uninstalled it.

I then tried to reinstall it but it was nowhere listed directly in the Microsoft store any longer. Can anyone tell me what's going on? I intend to send this message to Amazon as well.
