MSN, Community guidelines and standards being inappropriately applied.

I have been experiencing issues with posting comments on MSN for the past few months. My comments are often flagged as not complying with the community guidelines, despite my efforts to carefully craft them to avoid offending or accusing anyone. My intention is to provide supplemental information and alternative perspectives on topics and reports. I have also noticed that many news stories on MSN contain inaccurate and false information, and comments are often disabled for these stories. This creates a biased environment on the MSN website, as it does not allow for alternative information to be presented. I believe my comments do not violate the community standards and I would like to be able to resume posting comments like the one below, as sometimes presenting facts and refuting poor ideas is necessary.

Rather than simply providing answers, it is important to seek understanding by researching and contemplating the materials. Asking for answers is not affective, especially with complex topics like this, as human beings tend to have biases that hinder their ability to seek the reality of the situation due to cognitive dissidence. All I've given you some clues on what to research and I wish you the best of luck in your pursuit of understanding.”

    I contacted the support line, only to be directed to this form. Despite my repeated attempts to explain that this forum would not resolve my issue and was not intended for such purposes, my complaints have been reported to MSN.

    Additionally, the article provided by MSN on the appeal process lacks proper instructions on how to initiate an appeal. This is undoubtedly an intentional tactic to prevent users from appealing comments. Further, there was no flagging of my comment, yet the system prevented me from posting it. This indicates that the system's algorithm is flagging appropriate comments as inappropriate, which violates the principles of open discussion. Rather than promoting free discourse, the system only allows for agreement with the topic at hand, while forbidding any alternative perspectives. This is clearly deliberate and highlights the lack of ethics in the system's design.

    You are not the only one who has had this happen. The Filtering system is clearly agenda based and any slightest deviation from it gets flagged as "does not follow community standards" or is bullying and harassment. I can not even use a smiley emote as a singular reply. This is so silly and is a clear violation of free speech and silences people with a different opinion other than the agenda at hand. We can clearly see msn is no better than fox news when it comes to silencing or filtering people who are free thinkers and don't follow the echo box mentality. MSN, I know you are a private entity, but that doesn't mean you should silence people. It's not a good look.

    Not a problem. I've switched back to google chrome. I like Edge until they went completely insane with these so called, "community standards". I have noticed that progressive expressions always seem to meet community standards, but conservative expressions never do. "Community standards" is codeword for "political censorship".

    In actual fact I have reported dozens of abuses of the "guidelines" asking why, for example, the word "sigh" was flagged as profanity (I was able to post the exact same comment without that word.

    I give my email address. Absolutely no response. As far as I can tell the reports are round-filed.

    I just had one where the article was ABOUT LGBTQ issues (Apple's new rainbow thing). And when I tried to use LGBTQ in a perfectly innocuous sentence, it was flagged as "hate speech." The innocuous comment was allowed when I called the LGBTQ community as "the community Apple is appealing to."

    There are multiple other examples. I have had the question "why do you think that" flagged as hate speech. Other people regularly call me stupid, but that is apparently just fine. (I have reported those).

    Hello, saw this post - can I ask an important question, how do I and is it possible for me to opt out of the MSN guidelines which in of themselves are believe are partly, wrong, offensive and abhorrent. Thanks welcome your thoughts, Simon. Note - they are in part anti-God. I believe I am not alone in holding this belief.
