hi , few days ago i build my new pc and install windows 11 and activate it through my microsoft account. and everything was fine . yesterday i updated my MB BIOS and after that I'm having a problem with activating windows !!
i tried troubleshooting and " change hardware " option but still getting error .
tried to contact MS support live chat but stock at num1 in line and never get respond !
my MB is Gigabyte B560 AORUS Pro AX

After 5 hours alternately on hold and on the phone with 2 of the phone bank people and 2 different people from actual tech support... one tech had me do a clean reinstall swearing it would solve the problem before hanging up (it didn't), and the other tech hung up on me in the middle of the call, ignored my messages in the quick assist chat asking what happened, then ended the remote session. Windows support is worthless.
You should be able to download your previous bios version from Gigabyte site. My personal experience, it won't resolve your Win11 activation problem. What I didn't try was a running a Win11 restore point that was pre-bios flash... You could try that. Barring that, you will probably have purchase a new activation code.
