Hi,
I connected my iPhone in the Phone Link app.
I can send messages but the messages i receive do not appear in the app.
How can i solve this?

this was the fix for me. I opened phone link, clicked on settings, and under features, i clicked the drop down for messages. I made sure the toggle for ON was checked. and then i selected "show replies from group chats as individual messages"
all of a sudden i started getting my messages.
Hope this works for anyone looking!
At 70% of its capabilities it is still helpful as I don't have to use my phone to reply. I can read the messages on the phone and reply from my Surface laptop. Also cancel and answer the phone.
it's 100% an Apple "thing". This app will never work as well as expected and you have Apple to thank for that. They don't want to open things up for anyone but Mac Users, which is exactly how they operate their closed eco system.
Microsoft is trying their best to circumvent the proprietary protocols by intercepting messages when the notification pops up and deliver the message to the user. Intel's Unison App does the same thing. Can't blame Microsoft for at least trying to get something working.
But i will fault them for the lack of documentation on the specific notification settings required on the iPhone for this to even operate at all.
Mine works, but it is not perfect. I don't get all messages, but I am able to reply through Phone link. Sometimes I can find the contact and sometimes I can't. Phone calls do come in, and I can cancel them if I don't want to talk. Notifications do come in. This app has potential. They just need to work out all the bugs. Maybe it is an apple thing. Who knows.
It changed nothing for me. I get messages, when it feels like it, but those that do arrive are mostly worthless abbreviations of messages that cannot be opened to enable reading further and with no links to them. All in all, its a worthless app.
