Windows 11 New Install SFC /scannow erros

New install of windows 11 and immediately getting sfc errors. Can anyone review my logs and help?

    CBS logs mentioned the same error code, 0x8007000D, which means something has returned empty data (or an empty file.)

    Please download SetupDiag and run it. The tool collects the setup logs and saves them into a zip file named Logs.zip on your desktop. Upload the file to your OneDrive, Dropbox, or any other cloud hosting account and share the link here.

    Note: If you don't want to troubleshoot it, you may perform a custom installation, which is a clean install option where the files will be archived to C:\Windows.old. How to: Perform a Custom Installation of Windows 11 and Windows 10 or - Microsoft Community. The settings and apps will be lost, though.

    The update log along with a screenshot of the error code when attempting the iso install for windows 11 have now been uploaded

    Hi James,

    Ok. Let's know how it goes. If you haven't started the setup already, run get-windowsupdatelog command in admin PowerShell, and upload windowsupdate.log (saved to desktop) to GitHub. This is optional, though.

    Thanks. I have tried to use a windows image for both 10 and 11 and that also fails. I haven’t tried it with the no update/no internet option. I will give this a try and post updates.

    Thanks. The error may be because the WU client is broken.

    You may download the ISO and run setup.exe from the mounted ISO.

    • Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO)
    • Disconnect from the internet.
    • Double-click the ISO to mount it to a drive letter.
    • Run Setup.exe.
    • On the Install Windows 11 page, click "Change how Windows Setup downloads updates".
    • Select "Not Right Now" and proceed with the upgrade.

    The CBS logs show a problem with the WU client on the computer. The in-place upgrade should fix that.
