Hello, Lately, when running an application called Prepar3D, my system has had BSODs. It's a flightsim application, which relies a lot on GPU, CPU and RAM. Lately, when flying over a certain part of the world with a lot of mountains, my pc bsods, so I suspect it has to do with all the terrain rendering that is necessary. My system used to be stable and never had BSODs whatsoever, but lately that has changed. Whether it's GPU or CPU related, I don't know, but essential to know. I've tried to reinstall Windows 10 and Prepar3D, also reapplied thermal paste to both the GPU and CPU, updated BIOS and enabled Hyperthreading, but none of that has really changed anything. My GPU's temperature decreased a bit (10-15 degrees) but can still go up as far as 80 degrees. I also monitored temps and VRAM usage prior to the crash, none of them being near the limits. Nothing is overclocked. I think something is deeply wrong with my PC. Tried to update to Windows 11, but even then there was a BSOD. It makes me unable to update to Windows 11. Edit: Btw, I just did the RAM test successfully, with no errors detected. Guess we can rule out the RAM then?

Using Revo Uninstaller is a good idea in this case. I will wait for your feedback.

Yeah I'll reinstall Prepar3D, test and report back. As for deinstallation, I use a program called Revo Uninstaller, which deinstalls the program, and scans for leftovers in directories and registries and remove those as well.

You are right. I've never used Prepar3D before. From the behaviors you've been mentioning, I'm more certain that something in the app is causing these crashes. If it's not the addon, it could be the app itself. But you can still try to do a clean install of the app. Without installing any addon and see how it will behave. I've seen some addons leave "dirt" behind in some applications, even after being uninstalled. I don't doubt that the same thing can happen with Prepar3D.

Totally agree that the addon could easily be the cause of the BSODs, thing is that without this addon, the PC still had a BSOD with the exact same error. This happened when I panned around in exterior view above a mountain area (I realise that you probably haven't used Prepar3D before), but basically there's the virtual cockpit view and exterior view.

You are right. I've never used Prepar3D before.
