windows 11 black screen after login

Hi, i'm facing the same problem: black screen after login with cursor and ctrl+alt+del still working.

It can be useful to know that after some time, my pc automatically loaded what seemed to be the white onboarding page loading some content and than all my desktop loaded correctly, the white screen automatically closed and everything was back to normal.

This wasn't the first time booting up my pc after last update, but i noticed that every time i started my pc after the update (when it was still working) it tryed to load this white screen just to close it right after automatically. I'm currently running on windows 11 pro 22631.3296

Just letting you all know what worked for me to fix this problem (today is April 11, 2024). It worked for me last time, too (a couple months ago, also right after an update).

All I did was unplug my charger from the computer and then restart, and then it didn't go black after logging in. You can also try replugging after another restart, if this doesn't work.

I know it sounds simple and stupid, but it worked for getting rid of the black screen problem, for me.

Hi, I had same problem in the past. I tend to login in the local admin account and for some reason that's not having any black screen issue but when I log on to the affected user account its having a black screen issue.

I'll go back to local admin login and check if all the update and drivers are up to date and if that didn't fix the issue I roll back the latest update.

If that didn't work. I use this command 'sfc /scannow' to find that corrupted file.

Half the time that won't work either

My last resort, I will restart the machine. Sometimes that won't be enough and I have to physically unplug the desktop's power cord, to have it boot again.

The issue tends to surface every time there's an update release. This is a nooby question: Is this a normal thing after an update?

It's so weird that all these techs or experts responded with similar instructions. They just overlooked that we could not sign in to Windows since what we got is a BLACK/BLANK SCREEN! If we couldn't see anything on the screen, how could we do anything to do as they've suggested?

Unlike Windows 10, why Microsoft Windows 11 is so buggy that only created tons of problems and troubles to we Windows users?

Why all these techs didn't and couldn't see that we are facing a black/blank screen, and they still asked us to follow their instructions?

WE ARE EITHER FACING A BLACK/BLANK SCREEN OR a BLUE WINDOWS SIGN IN SCREEN with "The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted"...Press Shift when restart the power...Hold the Shift key while click the lower right power sign, choose Restart...When...on and on, again and again. We've been fooled around like morons!

Is this the marketing tricks, a "Lightbulb Conspiracy", that Microsoft made the Windows 11 so buggy with goofy updates to fry our PCs, not to be restored or repaired, then forced us to BUY NEW PCs?

Look at my eyes, and give me a straight answer.
