windows 11 black screen after login

recently my windows 11 PC has been showing a black screen after i login. i can still use my cursor, and i can use Ctrl Alt Del to open task manager, but it isn’t very useful as it just closes immediately. i have tried many troubleshooting steps, such as starting in safe mode and editing the bios, among others. but, no matter what i try, nothing works.

i have a prebuilt CyberpowerPC C-series gaming PC from 2019, with an AMD ryzen 5 5600 series CPU, a Gigabyte B450M motherboard, and an AMD geforce RX graphics card ( i do not know the exact model number ). I have made no hardware modifications to the PC.

hi there savaaio i had the same ting as well all you need to do is shut down your pc and tourn it bsack on a puhs f11 ke strate awy and then you shold have the windows recovery screen and do local drivers and do a factory rest and that should fix your error you are having hope this helps you out kind regards cole maniapoto

I had the same issue.

Mine was solved by loging in in safe mode with network and disable icloud from the startup.

I know this is an old thread, but my search brought me here. After a week of troubleshooting trying everything I could find on the internet, the whole Bootrec /fixmbr etc and updating drivers as well as everything else, it turned out my wireless network card was to blame, the Bluetooth side of it worked when it felt like it and the wireless part of it still worked fine, but after removing the card no more issue. I've since ordered a new Wireless/Bluetooth PCIe card and have no more issue.

I just replied to this post in case somebody else lands here while troubling shooting and searching the web and this gives you one more thing to check, so maybe check your hardware devices. I have to say, this had my head wrecked for a week, and multiple recovery's later it ended up being a hardware issue and not a software one.

I tried many solution found on the internet but everything didn't work and I always had to roll back with Windows upgrade. I resolved the issue yesterday when I disabled the WLAN e Bluetooth card from BIOS ( I have a desktop DELL PC in a office LAN ) so I confirm what Joe Baker4 said because I think too is an hardware issue and not a software one.
