Thanks. It seems the best strategy to avoid such nuissances. I will try to follow.
windows 11 black screen after login
recently my windows 11 PC has been showing a black screen after i login. i can still use my cursor, and i can use Ctrl Alt Del to open task manager, but it isn’t very useful as it just closes immediately. i have tried many troubleshooting steps, such as starting in safe mode and editing the bios, among others. but, no matter what i try, nothing works.
i have a prebuilt CyberpowerPC C-series gaming PC from 2019, with an AMD ryzen 5 5600 series CPU, a Gigabyte B450M motherboard, and an AMD geforce RX graphics card ( i do not know the exact model number ). I have made no hardware modifications to the PC.

2024-12-02T18:21:16+00:00 After a lot of options and even system restore didn't help.
Uninstalling the KB5046633 update fixed the issue. Thanks for the suggestion!
Hope Microsoft will fix that issue.
