Windows 11 PC freezes and becomes completely unresponsive when gaming

I recently got a new prebuilt PC, and within a week of redownloading all my files and games from my previous PC, the computer continuously freezes and becomes completely unresponsive when gaming. It happens at random times and seems to differ between games. I have done everything I possibly can to remedy this issue, from scanning and repairing drivers, drives, reseating my GPU and RAM, installing HW monitor to ensure my temps are not skyrocketing and the voltage/wattage is sufficient, going into BIOS to make sure nothing is overclocked and the RAM is set to the correct MHz, running the windows memory diagnostic tool, etc. Everything that has been posted on youtube and other forums, I am almost positive I have tried. Absolutely nothing works and no matter what I do, the freezes keep occurring. The strange thing is when my PC becomes unresponsive, I can still hear my friends continuing to talk in discord but they cannot hear me. I am not sure what else to do about this other than to seek help here or to return the PC and just build another one on my own.

    I play on an HP Omen Gaming PC that is barely 6months old. So far, I only have this problem on one game: Black Desert Online. I originally had the problem when I had only had the pc for less that 2 months at which point I contacted HP and they had me send it back to them to be fixed(a nightmare in and of itself). From what I can tell, all they did was replace the video card and reinstall the operating system(creating their own user in the process which is still creating problems of it's own for me). Sure enough, I still have the problem. While playing the game, my pc will randomly completely freeze up becoming totally unresponsive. The only remedy is to shut down and restart the pc. HP says that it is a problem with the game software being incompatible with some hardware in the pc, but they can't say what hardware.

    It's 2024 and I have the same issue but for me it specifically whwn I was play gta5 storymode the game froze but I can still hear the game audio keep going the game was still going I got stuck driving but you can hear npc cara honking at me stuck in them stuck in the middle of the road in the tunnel thing near lsc but my pc is unresponsive can't do anything even If I control all delete it does nothing I have to hard reset my pc either hold the power button untill I turns of or unplug my pc I have a

    I7 13620H

    32gb of ram

    I mostly play games were 60fps is all I really need like gta minecraft forza horizon 5 need for speed

    Beleive it is affecting everyone a little different. Since I've been ending the process for Edge, I havn't had issues for a couple of weeks now.

    Where did you get PC Manager? I went to the website and it said "Coming Soon" EDIT: Nvm, downloaded the app from the Store

    That said, I've had the freezing issue. It started after I modded Fallout 3 and New Vegas. I was playing fine for a while and then the next time I started it up, it froze Windows. Hard reset and tried again, same thing. After too many hard resets, I had to reinstall Windows entirely. Everything was going deceptively well for a bit while reinstalling EVERYTHING (ugh) and then I go to fire up a Steam game to check if it's installed or not, and Windows stops responding AGAIN and I can't access the task manager.. sooo the hard resets have started again. It seems to work fine as long as I'm not doing anything involving Steam at the moment. Steam is on in the background with no issues but I'm not clicking on any games, I don't wanna risk it. I'm at my wit's end with this. I just wanna play games and not ruin my computer.
