Lightshot not working after windows update

I use lightshot as it's the most convenient tool for taking screen snippets I've ever experienced, but after my new laptop updated last week, lightshot is no longer running from the background. I tried to uninstall and reinstall but did not work.

    I am already disabled "Use the print screen key to open snipping tool": Setting -> Accessibility -> Keyboard -> Use the print screen key to open snipping tool.

    Then I set the Prnt Scrn for Lightshot in Lightshot setting: Options -> Hotkeys -> General hotkey -> Select Prnt scrn again -> save.

    And now I can use the Lightshot with Prnt Scrn key

    All steps already done.....it did not work for me :-(

    It just runs in the background and not appearing at the tray. None key combination works.

    prerequisites: the hot key for the snipping tool is off

    1. I uninstalled Lightshot
    2. then I installed the following updates: 2023-08 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5028948) 2023-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5029263) 2023-08 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5029351) 2023-08 Cumulative Update Preview for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5029718)
    3. restarted the laptop
    4. then I ran the Lightshot installation with Admin permissions ("run as administrator" option in the right-click menu for "setup-lightshot.exe"

    and it works for me now :)

    Same issue here (Dell XPS15 - Win11 Pro)

    Lightshot is running in the background (services in the task manager) but is not visible in the tray. it does not respond to any key combination. I have also disabled the print screen in the accessibility area to not use the windows Snipping Tool. I've already reinstalled Lightshot several times, always uninstalling everything and the downloading the latest version and installing from scratch but nothing. Laptop and Windows up to date with all updates.

    I have exactly the same problem. But my laptop is running on Windows 10.

    Someone has fix it?
