The Camera screen is locked with a gray background, people you are on a videoconference call with cannot see you.
How can I change this?

2024-09-08T19:26:05+00:00 While trying to use zoom I noticed an issue with my camera. The camera presents a gray background with a lock icon in the middle. The camera used to work. I checked the integrated camera settings and the Preview indeed shows the gray background with Lock icon. So it is the computer / operating system I believe.
I checked the camera privacy and security settings and all apps have permission to use the camera. Some help text on the web says that depressing F8 might fix this but it doesn't. Just outs it into Airplane Mode. The comouter is Lenovo with windows 11 installed.
I can't get the integrated camera to work.
