Hovering over the app on the taskbar does not work as you say it should. No option to Move is shown.

None of the above worked for me. Not even "alt + space".

What I ended up doing was selecting "alt + tab" to open up the Task Switcher window?

You'll see every single currently open app. Even if you have "When using multiple displays, show my taskbar apps on - "Taskbar where window is open" selected on the Taskbar behaviors settings.

Select the app you want to move by clicking it. Don't click anything else after that because you'll risk deselecting it. You might not know you've selected it however because again, it's off screen somewhere as is the taskbar indicator telling you, you've selected it.

Using the "windows + arrow keys (left or right)" should give you control of where you want the app to be if you've successfully selected if without deselecting.

    Hope this helps someone.

I can confirm that the shift + right click method does not work for the NordVPN. Simply, nothing happens. It does work for Firefox, but not for the window I actually need to move. Super frustrating.

What did work for me was alt + space. Then click move, and use the arrow keys to move the window where you need it, and left click. Hope this helps.
