I think the solution to this is the windows key+shift+TAB but make sure your on the desktop screen and towards the edge of the screen

This worked.
Hold Shift while you right-click the icon. Then, depending on your keyboard either the +/- or arrows will eventually move the window, it just may have to move it half a mile, so ride the line between patience and time wasting...

While I cannot test this in remote desktop, it doesn't work on my real desktop.
I think a version of this was posted earlier in the thread.
It should work, but I have not tested it in Remote Desktop. If you do, please report the result here.
