App runs off screen in Windows 11.

I was one of the "move doesn't work" people.

Just breather - relax, and follow the steps exactly.

Depending on the configuration, right clicking on the app in task bar, may, or may not, show the move. Reason is, a pinned (but closed) app has no active window. Also, by right clicking - are you right clicking on the shortcut, or the active task? Imagine, you have multiple Excel's open. On "which one" are you right-clicking then? <- and that is the problem.

Try these steps first:

1. Hover over app on taskbar - so that preview window shows
2. If the preview window is blank - the app is "minimized. And then won't "move". Right click on the preview window and select "Restore".
3. Right click on the PREVIEW WINDOW, and click on "Move".
4. The mouse cursor should change to 4-directional arrow, indicating the window is in the move state. Now just press the left - or right arrows on the keyboard - ONCE.
5. If the app does not show up - try the other direction, repeating the steps.

Alternative solution:

1. Press [WinKey] + [Tab]

Option A: Keyboard
2. Use arrow keys to select desired window
2.1. Press [Context Key] if you have a keyboard with it. (It is usually between [Ctrl] and [Alt] somewhere on the bottom row)

Option B: Mouse
2. Right click on the desired window

3. Try using those options - which are different to the ones from the taskbar. They should include:
   Snap Left
   Snap Right
   ***Move To...Show on All Desktops, etc.*Other ways:**If you keep being stuck - try creating a second desktop. Move the app to that desktop, and see if it doesn't show up.

I just saw in win11 a tick box that says remember application window position and it was ticked by default. So if you change monitors untick it or close down after dragging everything to the primary monitor. I'm guessing.
