Dear Community,

I have a problem since months,

I've windows 11 Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621. When I click the time in the right bottom side of my taskbar, the calendar does not show up or display. This is very annoying because I have to use it for my work. Any ideas on how to fix this?

seems to work now.
Click on your clock and the notification bar will open > go to the line at the bottom, that displays the current date/day > there is a pointing-up-arrow on the right side on that field, when you click that it will open the monthly calendar.

Linux doesn't make us do this - and it's free!

All I get is small box, the colour of which changes according to the background, which displays the date:

today is 06/10/2023 according to the system tray; the very helpful popup advises 06 October 2023!

I did delete the Mail which apparently comes with the/a Win11 approved calendar app (not sure if it's the same one that Win 11 SHOULD have to replace Win 10) but you apparently need Mail in order to get this calender.

Another Win 11 created problem. If the system tray calendar was installed and working in Win 10 then the "upgrade" has deliberately removed it and the much loved functionality.

Wondering if the issue is that Win 11 does not have the correct functionality installed and/or turned on?

After clicking on the date & time in your system tray, click on the arrow next to the date.
    It will show the calendar.
