Dear Community,

I have a problem since months,

I've windows 11 Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621. When I click the time in the right bottom side of my taskbar, the calendar does not show up or display. This is very annoying because I have to use it for my work. Any ideas on how to fix this?

seems to work now.
Click on your clock and the notification bar will open > go to the line at the bottom, that displays the current date/day > there is a pointing-up-arrow on the right side on that field, when you click that it will open the monthly calendar.

    It is unfortunate you felt the need so respond to aggressively. I was simply indicating that the comment you replied to was a reply to my actual issue. Said issue is not resolved by any of the 17 pages worth of comments. I've read them all. I get notified every time someone comments on this thread, which means when you used this same response about 20 times prior to responding to me, I saw it. I am well aware of that solution as I can read, and have read, this entire thread. You are not personally responsible to fix this and you do not need to reply to absolutely everyone.

    Thank you for the attempt, but unfortunately, your solution did not resolve my issue. This is a Microsoft Forum, so I am in a way notifying Microsoft. I also do not believe that Microsoft will go out of their way to try to resolve one person's issues, so this is where I'm stuck at.

    Another example of Microsoft making changes for the sake of changes. I'm not sure why haven't switched to another brand.

    Such a simple, easy to use feature, ruined for the sake of it.

    I had this problem in September of 2004, and nothing here helped.

    Here's what worked:

    Go to Setting ->

    Time & Language ->

    Date & Time ->

    Show additional calendars in the taskbar ->

    Choose a random one (mine was Chinese) ->

    That made the calendar pop-up work. Then I went back and chose "Don't show additional calendars" to get rid of the Chinese, and now it just shows a regular calendar. (Worth mentioning: I had Widgets being shown in my taskbar - I don't know if that matters or not.)

    I can't imagine what MS didn't just give us an option for "Show slide-out calendar." They used to lead the world in UX testing and design. Those days are long over.
