WINDOWS 11 - Doesn't show my calendar on TaskBar

Dear Community,

I have a problem since months,

I've windows 11 Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621. When I click the time in the right bottom side of my taskbar, the calendar does not show up or display. This is very annoying because I have to use it for my work. Any ideas on how to fix this?

seems to work now. 
Click on your clock and the notification bar will open > go to the line at the bottom, that displays the current date/day > there is a pointing-up-arrow on the right side on that field, when you click that it will open the monthly calendar.

    Lol.. That is not the Microsoft way. Hey this works, Great let us change it and see who we can annoy :)

    This will add the ability to have calendar on your main display window. Again, this fix will work on your primary display only. When you click on date and time the calendar will open similar to before. NOTE: Your organization may prevent you from these settings. Give this to your service desk to perform for you if needed.

    Startup CMD in admin

    • Run GPedit User Configuration -> Administrative Templates - Start Menu and Taskbar

    Change the option by clicking on:

    Disabled- "Remove Notifications and Action Center".

    Should now be working...

    Thank you Don DeChamps, I am running Windows 11 on a home desktop PC. I have not used, or found the need to use GPedit in the past. Just out of interest, I tried to run GPedit from the CMD window as administrator. My system came back with 'Command not recognized'. Clearly my skill set is lacking something.

    None the less, I have got the calendar working following Linda C. Rodríguez post of 7th December. It did not help with me having a twin display and trying initially on the screen that was not the main display. With Linda's steer and switching over screen priorities, problem solved. Windows 10 calendar display was not confined to main display only. Another subtle MS Team user aggravating challenge. The developers must have a twisted sense of humour.

    Not sure why nobody has posted a screenshot to show where the calendar is hidden, so I thought I'd add it for anyone who stumbles on this thread like I did and isn't sure where to find the calendar.

    1. Left-click on the time/date in the taskbar to reveal the notifications panel.
    2. Click the arrow on in the top right corner of the date panel, which only shows a "focus timer" by default.

    Congrats, you can now see a full calendar, just like in Windows 10!
