WINDOWS 11 - Doesn't show my calendar on TaskBar

Dear Community,

I have a problem since months,

I've windows 11 Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621. When I click the time in the right bottom side of my taskbar, the calendar does not show up or display. This is very annoying because I have to use it for my work. Any ideas on how to fix this?

seems to work now. 
Click on your clock and the notification bar will open > go to the line at the bottom, that displays the current date/day > there is a pointing-up-arrow on the right side on that field, when you click that it will open the monthly calendar.

    Dear all,

    For me, It's a two click process to have the calendar display as a real calendar.

    I clicked on calendar and there is down/ up arrow or chevron in the upper right corner. I clicked on the little chevron to expand the clock and it seems that it will stick in calendar mode. I don't think I answered the question about why the calendar isn't showing.

    It's more along the lines of why is the calendar not working the same way it has for the last 20 years.

    Sometimes, I fatigue of MS's need for 'real estate' expansion / contraction. I'm 65 and have been in computing since I was 17. I'm ready to return to a Selectric on many days.

    I have tried all these items suggested by those who are kind enough to reply, nothing works. MS have just screwed it up AGAIN!

    On my Windows 11, THERE IS NO "Notification area" section within the Taskbar settings!!! So how am I supposed to view the calendar without going to the STUPID Windows Apps to view such???? Microsoft just cant seem to stop changing EVERYTHING so it is UNRECOGNIZABLE. Like we used to say in the U.S.Army, If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!! AND KISS, Keeep it Simple, Stupid!!!!
