"Efficiency Mode" to OFF

Settings to maximize performance.

Opened Edge with 9 tabs, used for 15 minutes (every tab)

19 tabs and processes in "Efficiency Mode"

Types question

30 tabs and processes in "Efficiency Mode"

Windows STOPPED

Unable to change tabs or programs

The (anti) efficiency mode is severely disrupting system performance.

WHY?

How do I STOP this?

    I'm going to try deleting whatever .exe file is used for efficiency mode if it even exists. I'll see if that solves the issue.

    NO. I am experiencing the same problem. It is not the video card that is the problem. The problem is that efficiency mode causes the video card to crash if someone is using the same browser in two windows to search the internet and watch YouTube at the same time. This is because efficiency mode severely limits the amount of RAM, VRAM, and other resources and when our computers reach that limit the YouTube stops playing. And if someone is playing an online game in multiple tabs - say, Farm Town for example helping multiple friends boost factory production times - then the system crashes because of efficiency doing this. It has NOTHING to do with Nvidia or AMD.

    MS also writes off the gaming community with one hand and begs the gaming community to buy its hardware with the other. They assume that everyone is a 40 something man using a laptop on a business trip and ignore the fact that desktop computers do not even USE a battery, let alone a battery that needs to use less power.

    I have my computer set to AMD's Ryzen Performance Mode and Windows still does this. So this is not the solution to the problem.
