"Efficiency Mode" to OFF

Settings to maximize performance.

Opened Edge with 9 tabs, used for 15 minutes (every tab)

19 tabs and processes in "Efficiency Mode"

Types question

30 tabs and processes in "Efficiency Mode"

Windows STOPPED

Unable to change tabs or programs

The (anti) efficiency mode is severely disrupting system performance.

WHY?

How do I STOP this?

    Why is there no switch to dissable the efiicincy mode, i dont want to have it aktivated it calls ll kind off problems

    The software is authored for the customer correct? No. If so, then the customer would be able to decide if they want 'efficiency mode' or ANY modifications to the operating system environment. I hate Apple by nature, but Microsoft is making it hard on me to avoid Apple products with things like this underlying their business model.

    Why in the hell wouldn't yall let us disable this. I'm a network admin and you guys have completely screwed up my management world. My network devices that I manage over the internet, aren't responding half the time thanks to your stupid efficiency mode. Way to screw up windows even further.

    Exactly! When MS does something that cannot be turned off, I left wondering what is up with that.

    Dear Microsoft,

    Let's do be honest. You're acting like our digital nanny state to not have an easy 'off' toggle for efficiency mode, and it's a bit disturbing.

    At best, it's condescending in the extreme, and really not the right customer service mindset.

    I know y'all think you're saving the planet, but you're really just contributing to a totalitarian moment.
